AFORE Acquires Cloud Application Security Company Comsecware

Comsecware has developed technology that will allow full application-level security in cloud environments

OTTAWA, Aug. 23, 2011 /PRNewswire/ - AFORE Solutions, Inc., provider of the CloudLink(TM) cloud security and management software portfolio, today announces the acquisition of privately held Comsecware, a developer of disruptive technology in application level security.

Comsecware, based in Ottawa, Ontario Canada, has developed technology that will allow full application level security in cloud environments by protecting applications from outsider and administrator attacks. The Comsecware technology will be added as an additional level of security to the network and storage security products of AFORE's CloudLink(TM) portfolio.

AFORE's CloudLink virtual appliance and management software suite is designed to enable a significant increase in the adoption of private, public and hybrid clouds.
