BigFix Launches Global Partner Network

Program expands BigFix's global presence with channel partners, OEMs and technology alliances

Emeryville, Calif.,--March 30, 2010

News Facts BigFix, Inc. has launched its first global partner program, branded PlatformONE, to address its growing portfolio of channel partners, strategic alliances and Managed Service Providers. BigFix's ambitious partner ecosystem expansion aligns with the company's goal to establish itself as a Tier 1 player in IT systems and security management worldwide. Furthermore, BigFix believes partners of all types add significant value in specifying, implementing, and supporting BigFix-based solutions in specialized vertical markets, small and medium business sector, and managed services delivery. Led by Suzanne Swanson, vice president for worldwide partners, the BigFix PlatformONE program focuses on expanding the company's geographic reach, vertical market value add, and ability to bring BigFix's enterprise-sized benefits to organizations of all sizes through the partner network. PlatformONE is supported by a dedicated partner organization that includes channel managers, business development, channel marketing and field engineering support in North America, Europe Middle East Africa (EMEA), and Asia Pacific regions. As part of the program, BigFix is delivering partner certification training, professional services education and ongoing communications to increase both partner revenue opportunities and to assure customers receive the full value of BigFix solutions. Customer-First Partner Strategy BigFix views its partner program as a natural outgrowth of its traditional customer-first go-to-market strategy. BigFix recognizes that value added resellers, MSPs and OEMs are a strategic part of their customers' business, offering a broad range of products and services that extend and enhance the value of the solutions offered by BigFix directly. By combining BigFix and partner core competencies, customers in a wider range of geographic locations, markets, and sizes can benefit from the cost savings, process efficiencies, and added security that BigFix technologies provide. In addition, BigFix is extending its lead as the systems and security management platform of choice for managed services providers who eliminate IT management hassles for organizations of all sizes. BigFix PlatformONE Partner Program The PlatformONE program is by invitation-only, focusing exclusively on partners with deep endpoint systems and security management expertise and technology partners whose integration with the BigFix Unified Management Platform provides immediate, hard-dollar ROI to joint customers. BigFix offers a strong value proposition to partners through a "channel neutral" sales compensation structure that aligns BigFix direct sales resources with partners in a non-competitive fashion. All SMB and mid-market opportunities will require partner involvement. BigFix has launched a multifaceted partner enablement program that includes web promotion, joint publicity, partner training, BigFix-partner communications, and field sales engagement to connect the right partners with the right customers and prospects. As it continues to build its partner networks, BigFix is actively identifying partners in all geographic regions—particularly Europe-Middle East, Asia Pacific, and Americas—that meet the program's rigorous standards.
