Scott Shinn is an avid advocate of open source security software and currently serves as the project manager of the OSSEC project. In addition to OSSEC, Shinn has contributed to dozens of open source projects, including substantial contributions to ModSecurity, Open VAS, PH,P and MySQL. In his day job, he serves as CTO and co-founder of Atomicorp, a specializes in unified workload security. Atomicorp products extend OSSEC and Modsecurity to offer security, intrusion detection, and workload protection for cloud, datacenter, and hybrid environments.
