Micah Babinski is an emerging cybersecurity professional, currently working as a Security Analyst for AAA Oregon/Idaho. He recently transitioned to the security industry following a decade working in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) as an analyst, technical lead, and project manager. His areas of interest include automation, threat hunting, and cloud security. He hopes to continuously sharpen his technical skills, help small and medium size enterprises stay secure in the rapidly-changing threat landscape, and help aspiring security professionals succeed in launching their careers. Besides his career focus, Micah is also an experienced bagpiper, proud husband and father, and an enthusiastic (but very amateur) chef. He resides with his family in Portland, Oregon.
