Dr. Sauvik Das

Sauvik Das is a professor at interactive computing, cybersecurity and privacy at Georgia Tech. He is also a consultant, expert witness, and speaker, specializing in the user experience, cybersecurity and privacy of consumer-facing cybersecurity and privacy products. His expertise spans performing large-scale big data analyses and experiments to understand high-level behavioral patterns, running interviews and surveys to understand problems users face in their day-to-day and experiences with security, as well as building and evaluating systems that make it easy for people to keep their data and devices secure and private. His has work has been supported and recognized by the Office of Naval Research, the National Science Foundation, the Association for Computing Machinery, Qualcomm, Facebook, USENIX, and the NSA. His work and commentary have also been featured in The Atlantic, The Financial Times, The Korea Times, Are Technica and Vice.
