As Senior Director of Security and IT at Distil Networks, Chris Nelson leads the security and compliance initiatives across the organization by the use of permaculture for design of policy, standards, audit, and risk assessment. He works with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders to ensure solutions meet all legal, regulatory, contractual, and security obligations, and is responsible for managing Distil's PCI-DSS 3.2 and ISO 27001 regulatory requirements and control framework implementation. Chris also implemented security into the development lifecycle for all platforms across the company, including training and awareness, application security, securing the Agile development lifecycle, and integrating security into DevOps practices.
