StillSecure partners with Patchlink to simplify end-to-end vulnerability lifecycle management
SUPERIOR, Colo. -- StillSecureR, provider of an award- winning, integrated suite of enterprise network security solutions, today announced a technology partnership with PatchLinkR Corporation, a global leader in enterprise security patch and vulnerability management, to deliver a complete vulnerability management solution that supports the entire security lifecycle.
Through the integration between StillSecure VAMT, the company's vulnerability management platform, with PatchLink's core product, PatchLink UpdateT, StillSecure enables organizations to accurately identify all system vulnerabilities, remediate automatically according to company policies and baselines, and report on the status of the IT environment. The combined solution of VAM and PatchLink Update delivers continuous protection to the enterprise by mitigating risks, decreasing security administration, and providing comprehensive risk management reporting.
The integration between VAM and PatchLink Update, available immediately, is made possible by the VAM Enterprise Integration FrameworkT (EIF). The EIF allows external systems to execute commands, import data to, export data from the PatchLink Update Server, and act on vulnerability data within VAM's core vulnerability management process. Organizations importing PatchLink Update data into VAM adopt an auditable workflow process for finding and patching vulnerabilities, then confirming that patches have been successfully applied and systems secured.
"To protect against the latest threats, organizations need to adopt a layered approach to security for proactively identifying, tracking, and managing the repair of critical network vulnerabilities," said Suzanne Swanson, senior vice president of business development, PatchLink. "The combined offering between PatchLink and StillSecure delivers an integrated security solution to effectively manage the entire security lifecycle from vulnerability assessment and remediation to reporting the health status of the IT environment."
"The Enterprise Integration Framework helps organizations centrally manage all vulnerability-related data using a single, integrated, end-to-end repository where all vulnerability information and patching activities can be managed," said Alan Shimel, Chief Strategy Officer at StillSecure. "Integration with PatchLink Update allows organizations to build an end-to- end vulnerability lifecycle management process for more proactive identification and remediation of network vulnerabilities."
