PRESS RELEASE

LOS ALTOS, Calif., Jan. 26, 2009 IronKey, maker of the world's most secure flash drive, today announced a strategic partnership with McAfee, the worlds largest dedicated security technology company, to integrate the comprehensive McAfee anti-virus scanning capability, and deliver it on-board IronKey Enterprise USB devices. When an IronKey device is mounted, the McAfee anti-virus scan will automatically run to identify potentially harmful files. This is in addition to IronKeys active malware defenses which stop worms from spreading, validates software and limits the use of IronKey devices to only trusted networks.

Conventional USB flash drives and other removable storage devices allow viruses, worms and other malicious code to penetrate systems. IronKey provides active security, including a complete range of anti-malware controls down to the hardware level that enable IronKey devices to defend themselves. The McAfee anti-virus technology combines with advanced IronKey self-defending features including AutoRun protection to provide a complete solution. IronKey provides comprehensive layers of security required to make IronKey USB flash drives truly portable computing environments that protect data from loss or leakage, while preventing the spread of malware.
