PRESS RELEASE

SUNNYVALE, Calif., April 6 /PRNewswire/ -- Fujitsu Computer Products of America, Inc., a leading supplier of innovative computer products including hard disk drives, peripherals and biometric security solutions, today announced the integration of its PalmSecure LOGONDIRECTOR with Passlogix, Inc.'s market-leading v-GO(R) Access Accelerator Suite for enterprise single sign-on and related authentication and provisioning enablement. The Fujitsu PalmSecure LOGONDIRECTOR combines the Fujitsu PalmSecure biometric authentication technology embedded in a PC mouse with software that seamlessly integrates with third-party single sign-on (SSO) solutions. This integration of PalmSecure's highly accurate biometric identification capabilities with Passlogix's SSO solutions provides organizations a comprehensive, cost-effective identity management infrastructure that helps eliminate password security challenges, protect proprietary systems and information, and comply with HIPAA, SOX, PCI DSS and regulations.

"The integration of PalmSecure LOGONDIRECTOR with Passlogix's v-GO platform offers an ideal solution to counter identity theft as well as illustrates the continued adoption of PalmSecure LOGONDIRECTOR by leading identity management and SSO providers," said Jim Preasmyer, director of New Products Group, sales and business development, Fujitsu Computer Products of America, Inc. "Organizations are adopting biometric SSO solutions to remove loopholes in security procedures and increasing productivity by eliminating the need for repetitive physical entry of usernames and passwords."

The Fujitsu PalmSecure sensor uses a near-infrared light to capture a person's palm vein pattern, generating a unique biometric template that is matched against pre-registered users' palm vein patterns. With PalmSecure LOGONDIRECTOR, users are no longer required to remember passwords, eliminating the threats posed by misplaced passwords, as well as the considerable cost of creating and re-assigning new log-in credentials. PalmSecure LOGONDIRECTOR is also equipped with Session Manager functionality, ideal for healthcare and other IT environments in which multiple users need to access a single computer by requiring users to authenticate themselves separately. Individual activity is tracked, promoting security and compliance best practices by limiting users' access to only those applications and files for which they are pre-approved. In addition, when an employee leaves a company, the IT department has simply one credential to delete, substantially reducing de-provisioning time and costs, which is especially concerning in a down economy.

"Our v-GO product portfolio continues to help meet customers' critical security, compliance and administrative needs, and we are always looking to enhance our offerings by partnering with other industry-leading technology providers," said Stephane Fymat, vice president of strategy and product management, Passlogix, Inc. "Integrating the Fujitsu PalmSecure LOGONDIRECTOR strengthens our support for two-factor authentication as part of our password management capabilities and enhances our ability to address the numerous security issues associated with lost, stolen or forgotten passwords."

The v-GO Access Accelerator Suite is an integrated set of software solutions that eliminate everyday challenges in sign-on, authentication and provisioning that decrease business productivity. The v-GO Single Sign-On, cornerstone of the suite, provides fast and secure access to enterprise applications without requiring users to remember and manage multiple IDs and passwords. The various components of the v-GO suite enable businesses to improve operational efficiency, strengthen enterprise security and regulatory compliance readiness, and streamline identity management deployments without expensive custom integration.
