SAN JOSE, Calif. -- F-Secure® Corporation (http://www.f-secure.com/), the leading Internet security company that pioneered security as a service, today announced that Nuspire Networks (http://www.nuspire.com/) will be using F-Secure Protection Service for Business to safeguard its General Motors Dealer Equipment customers across the United States from Internet security threats.

GM dealerships rely on the Internet for day-to-day business operations. In order to ensure that business can continue without interruption, the dealerships must protect their desktop computers and networks from the devastating effects of malicious viruses, spam and other malware threats. However, individual dealerships do not always have the IT resources needed to maintain a high level of security.

“F-Secure Protection Service for Business will allow dealerships to focus on their core business of selling cars rather than data security,” said Curtis Cresta, vice president and general manager, North American operations at F-Secure. “Our relationship with Nuspire allows us to showcase the benefits of offering security as a service, which will provide dealerships a robust and comprehensive security solution without the need to spend valuable time and resources trying to manage their own computer networks.”
