PRESS RELEASE

ACTON, Mass. --(Business Wire)-- Apr 21, 2009 eIQnetworks', Inc., today announced that it has joined the McAfee' Security Innovation Alliance (SIA). As part of this technology partnering program, eIQnetworks will integrate SecureVue' with the McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator' (ePO) console to enable joint customers to react faster to emerging enterprise security threats and get correlated views of network security information from a wide variety of data sources.

By virtue of the integration, users of either product can capitalize on data provided by the other to create a more complete picture of an enterprise's IT security posture. Companies can apply security policies to a more detailed understanding of their networks, based on a wide variety of data sources, including asset, performance, logs, configuration and flow data sources. Such a holistic approach spots emerging concerns faster and more accurately.

Additionally, the integrated McAfee/eIQnetworks offering will streamline the compliance efforts of enterprises and government agencies by providing a broader view of implemented security controls, and by facilitating the preparation for audits and compliance assessments.

"Given the sophistication of today's attackers, enterprises need to focus on reacting faster to emerging threats by more aggressively monitoring what's happening throughout the entire IT stack, which cannot be done through simple log aggregation," said Mike Rothman, senior vice president of strategy at eIQnetworks. "McAfee and eIQnetworks both believe that there is no silver bullet to a secure enterprise; the key is to have a myriad of security data sources collaborating, and SecureVue's integration with McAfee will provide customers with a broader view of their IT environments, streamlining compliance activities."

McAfee ePO software lets enterprises and governments centrally manage security and compliance products from multiple vendors, offering unprecedented cost savings and return on investment. With more than 35,000 customers and managing close to 60 million PCs and servers, this unique platform is helping McAfee SIA partners to extend their reach and create complementary functionality.

"A key goal behind the McAfee Security Innovation Alliance program is to accelerate the development of interoperable security products and simplify the integration of those products with complex customer environments," said Joe Gottlieb, vice president of corporate strategy and technology alliances, McAfee. "We're thrilled to see eIQnetworks leverage McAfee's investment in its security risk management platform and extend this value to our joint customers."
