DOD Certifies nCircle

WASHINGTON and SAN FRANCISCO -- nCircle, the leading provider of agentless security risk and compliance management solutions, announced today that nCircle IP360 has passed the rigorous U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Information Technology Security Certification and Accreditation Process (DITSCAP).

nCircle IP360 is the only agentless security risk and compliance management system to receive DITSCAP certification. DITSCAP establishes the standard DoD process for certifying and accrediting information systems. It applies to the acquisition, operation, and support of DoD systems that collect, store, transmit or process information. IP360 underwent extensive and rigorous evaluation, testing, review and analyses to earn the certification, and meets the DoD standard for security networks and the Defense Information Infrastructure (DII).

nCircle has demonstrated strong on-going commitment to meeting and exceeding federal standards. In addition to DITSCAP certification, nCircle IP360 is also certified under the Common Criteria Evaluation and Certification Scheme (CCS) at Evaluation Assurance Level (EAL) 3. nCircle is the only security risk and compliance management vendor to have achieved this level of certification. IP360 is also compliant with FIPS 140-2, an internationally-recognized standard that certifies the cryptographic modules in IP360 meet the highest level of protection required by the US Federal Government and the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST).
