CITTIO partners with eIQnetworks to add security and compliance capabilities to its network and systems monitoring platform
ACTON, Mass. and SAN FRANCISCO -- eIQnetworks®, Inc., a global provider of next-generation security information management (SIM) solutions, and CITTIO, the innovation leader in automated network and systems monitoring software, today announced an OEM agreement in which eIQ’s SecureVue™ solution for managing security, risk and compliance across the enterprise will be offered as a fully integrated module of the CITTIO WatchTower® platform. The combined offering enables customers to prevent costly downtime while simultaneously safeguarding their important business assets.
Sold under the CITTIO brand, the tightly integrated solution is designed to break down the traditional silos within organizations by unifying log, vulnerability, configuration, asset, performance and NetFlow data. This end-to-end correlation fosters close collaboration between the NOC (Network Operations Center), the SOC (Security Operations Center) and compliance teams. As a result, organizations are able to better monitor and manage availability, security, risk and compliance across the enterprise.
“Today, network management teams need to manage and understand network-related issues across silos such as servers, storage, security, databases and applications. They need to manage complex and dynamic IP networks to connect customers, vendors and employees,” wrote Evelyn Hubbert in “The Network Management Software Market” report, (Forrester Research, Inc., June 6, 2007). “Network traffic monitoring needs to be tied to security management so that early detection of threats leads to proactive actions rather than front-line news.”
