Leading specialty clothing retailer Chico's chooses Liquid Machines to protect its intellectual property and confidential information

WALTHAM, Mass. -- Liquid Machines, Inc., the leader in Enterprise Rights Management (ERM) solutions, today announced that Chico’s FAS, Inc. (NYSE: CHS), a specialty retailer of exclusively designed women’s clothing, has selected Liquid Machines Document Control™ software to secure and control access to some of its most critical and sensitive company electronic data. Liquid Machines enables Chico’s to provide its executives and staff role-based access and usage controls to Chico’s intellectual property. Deployment of Liquid Machines to additional business units will continue throughout the next few months as the company expands its digital rights program.

Chico’s currently operates more than 800 women’s specialty stores across the United States, U.S. Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico under the trade names “Chico’s,” “White House|Black Market,” “Soma by Chico’s” and “Fitigues.” Virtually all of the clothing and accessories offered at each of the company’s branded stores are designed by the company’s in-house product development team, bears each brand’s trademark, and is confidential until the time it is publicly made available through its retail stores, on-line store, or mail-order catalogues.
