Tizor announces general availability of Mantra V4
MAYNARD, Mass. -- Tizor, the leading provider of data activity auditing and security solutions for compliance and data theft protection in the data center, today announces general availability of Mantra™ V4, the first solution to enable enterprises to manage and evaluate their corporate compliance and data security posture for all of their critical data – whether it resides on databases, file servers or mainframe applications.
In addition to supporting all of the major database vendors, including IBM DB2 UDB, Oracle, Sybase and SQL Server on Intel platforms, Mantra now has expanded coverage that includes legacy mainframe database environments. Tizor is also announcing the integration of agent-less local auditing technology within the Mantra platform, enabling enterprises to track all privileged user activity regardless of whether that activity originates on the network or on a local-access terminal.
”Point solutions are at best partial solutions when it comes to monitoring critical or regulated data, which is spread out through both structured and unstructured repositories. Unless you deploy a data auditing solution that covers all of your data repositories you will end up with holes,” said Mounil Patel, Research Director for Information Security & Services at the Aberdeen Group. “Enterprises should look for solutions that cover all of their data stores and provide consolidated reports across the entire data center.”
