SafeNet Ethernet Encryptors meet strongest U.S. government security standards for encryption
BALTIMORE -- SafeNet, Inc., a global leader in information security, today announced that its SafeEnterprise™ Ethernet 1.0 GB Encryptors have received Federal Information Processing Standards (FIPS) 140-2, Level 3 approval, the highest level of FIPS security certification obtained by a high speed Ethernet Encryptor.
The FIPS 140-2 Level 3 certification demonstrates that SafeEnterprise™ Ethernet Encryptors meet the most stringent government security standards and provide organizations with solid assurance that their data will remain secure. FIPS certifications are granted by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) and specify the security requirements that need to be satisfied by cryptographic security solutions.
