SAN FRANCISCO --(Business Wire)-- Apr 21, 2009 HOB, Inc. is showcasing this week at the RSA Conference 2009 its latest remote management/VPN (Virtual Private Network), RDP (Remote Desktop Protocol) and VDI (Virtual Desktop Infrastructure) solutions.

HOB Remote Desktop VPN 1.3 " is the company's latest version of its browser-based secure remote access software. The solution, certified in accordance with the Common Criteria, addresses the needs of telecommuters, mobile workforces and remote offices. The HOB Remote Desktop VPN, which includes the latest version of the Java-based RDP client, features expanded file access and print functionality as well as SSL encryption and strong authentication.

HOBLink JWT (Java Windows Terminal) 3.3 " is a Java-based RDP client which provides platform-independent remote access to applications centrally installed on Windows Terminal Servers (WTS). With the new HOBLink JWT version 3.3 client, enterprise organizations can leverage all the advantages of server-based computing for Windows, Unix and Mac OS X applications. From an IT management perspective, HOBLink JWT allows users to conveniently and securely access centralized applications and data from any client independent of its operating system (Apple Mac OS X, UNIX/Linux, Microsoft, etc.).

HOB VDI Business " is a new VDI solution that enables companies to centralize their desktops in the data center which eases administration while improving security. The solution provides users with end-to-end access to virtual desktops. With HOB's VDI technology, single-user operating systems do not run on a user's workstation, but in the data center instead.
