SAN DIEGO -- Financial Service Centers Cooperative (FSCC) the international credit union Shared Branching Network, today announced a technology partnership with two leading data protection vendors, GlobalCerts and Websense Inc., to enhance security measures on the network for participating credit unions representing 12 million members.

Throughout 2006, the FSCC Shared Branching Network experienced tremendous growth in transaction activity—a trend that demanded attention and a solution for the risks associated with wrongful data exposure incidents. With more than 1,000 branches worldwide and plans to expand to an additional 2,200 locations at select 7-Eleven® stores nationwide, data security is a top priority for FSCC.

While FSCC offers a variety of fraud prevention training, tools and disaster recovery services to its member credit unions, they also needed a solution that would protect confidential customer and financial data from being accidentally or maliciously exposed.
