MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. -- Covelight Systems, the innovator of real-time, application-independent online management solutions, today announced a partnership with Quova, Inc., the authority on IP Intelligence and leading provider of Internet geolocation data and services, to deliver a seamless platform for online user transaction data and enhanced authentication capabilities for financial services enterprises. Quova's GeoPoint™ service has been integrated with Covelight’s Inflight Intelligence Engine™ (IIE) to provide an option to customers for authentication based on a user’s geographic location.

The partnership gives Inflight™ users the option of using Quova's proprietary mapping of the complete worldwide population of IP addresses on the Internet as an additional layer of risk management and protection against online fraud.

“Our partnership with Quova was forged out of our enterprise customers requesting Quova’s GeoPoint solution as our embedded source of geo-intelligence data in our Inflight Intelligence Engine,” says Spencer Snedecor, CEO of Covelight Systems. “We will continue to deliver world class solutions to meet our customers’ requirements. We look forward to the addition of Quova GeoPoint into our solution to deliver the IP Intelligence that will power fraud prevention and regulatory compliance for financial services enterprises.”

Inflight™ delivers the industry’s first and only online monitoring product family specifically designed to feed actionable, real-time data to fraud management systems, without requiring any integration with the online application. Inflight is built on Covelight’s new Capture-Transform-Feed (CTF) architecture, which was developed in conjunction with one of the world’s largest financial institutions to ensure it meets regulatory requirements and delivers the performance needed in extremely high-volume environments.

“Covelight is a leader in delivering innovative solutions for online monitoring, and we’re delighted to be partnering with them,” said Gary Jackson, COO of Quova. “Integrating GeoPoint into Inflight will produce exactly the kind of business solution that online banking enterprises need in a demanding environment of rising fraud and strict regulatory enforcement.”
