The new 802.11n Wi-Fi standard promises bandwidth capacity as much as six times higher than current speeds but existing WLAN switching infrastructure cannot efficiently handle the increased load, said Nicholas Miller, CEO of AirPatrol. Enterprise customers are eager to take advantage of the bandwidth capabilities of the new Wi-Fi technology to support massive volumes of data, voice, and video traffic.
