PRESS RELEASE

SUNNYVALE and ALISO VIEJO, Calif., Feb. 8, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Yubico, a leading provider of easy and secure login solutions, and Quest Software today announced that the YubiKey USB authentication key is now available as one of the hardware tokens offered with Quest Defender.

Quest offers IT management software across virtual, physical and cloud environments. Quest Defenderenhances security by enabling two-factor authentication to network, Web and applications-based resources. Defender was designed to base all administration and identity management on an organization's existing investment in Active Directory, and eliminates the costs and time involved in setting up and maintaining proprietary databases. In addition, Defender works with the full range of OATH-compliant One Time Password (OTP) methods, including mobile phone apps, display tokens - and most recently - YubiKeys.

"With its ease of use, robust design and minimal size, the YubiKey is a great complement to our existing offering of authentication methods," said Jackson Shaw, Sr. Director of Product Management for Identity & Access Management, Quest Software.

The YubiKey simplifies the process of logging in with a One Time Password token, as it does not require the user to re-type long pass codes from a display device into the login field of the computer. The YubiKey is inserted in the USB-port of any computer and the OTP is generated and automatically entered with a simple touch of a button on the YubiKey, without the need for any client software or drivers. The rugged, ultra-thin, battery-free, crush safe, and waterproof design has also been fundamental to the success of the YubiKey, currently used by over 10,000 customers globally.

"We are pleased to partner with Quest Software to offer Defender customers unmatched ease of use, and the Yubico community a new proven validation server choice," said Stina Ehrensvard, CEO and Founder, Yubico.

The joint solution will be demonstrated at the RSA Conference in San Francisco Feb. 14-18, 2011 in the Quest Software booth #2232.
