PRESS RELEASE

STOCKHOLM and PALO ALTO, Calif., April 7, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Yubico, provider of the popular authentication token YubiKey, and ForgeRock, the leading enterprise open source identity and access management software company, today announced that the YubiKey is now supported in ForgeRock OpenAM.

Cloud computing brings computer and data resources to the cloud and offers higher efficiency, massive scalability and faster and easier software development. Yubico and ForgeRock envision a world of many clouds - public and private - that are open, secure and interoperable and this partnership is one step closer to that vision.

ForgeRock is a global ISV with origins in the business and technical community at Sun Microsystems. The teams base their business exclusively on open source products.

The YubiKey simplifies the process of logging in with a One-Time Password (OTP) token as it does not require the user to re-type long pass codes from a display device into the login field of the computer. The YubiKey is inserted in the USB port of any computer and the OTP is generated and automatically entered with a simple touch of a button on the YubiKey, and without the need of any client software or drivers. The rugged, ultra-thin, battery-free, crush safe and waterproof design has also been fundamental to the success of the YubiKey, currently used by over 10,000 customers globally.

"YubiKey's authentication integration paired with ForgeRock OpenAM allows customers to easily, securely and affordably solve single sign-on challenges across various web environments,"says Lasse Andresen, ForgeRock CEO."ForgeRock staff will also have the option to use YubiKeys for our own secure login."

"We are pleased to see our YubiKey supported in ForgeRock AM and to offer our customers enterprise class IAM software with the benefits of open source," says Stina Ehrensvard, Yubico CEO.
