PRESS RELEASE

June 16, 2009 " TrustPort, manufacturer of top security products for both home and corporate clients, is introducing a new version of TrustPort PC Security to the market. The comprehensive security package is newly characterized by a more user friendly firewall, an improved shredding tool and more extensive support of 64-bit operating systems.

TrustPort PC Security is composed of six modules covering various fields of computer and data security. Four of these modules from the new version can be used on both 32-bit and 64-bit operating systems. These are modules Antivirus, Personal Firewall, Disk Protection, and Data Shredder. Modules Archive Encryption, used for encrypted data archiving, and module eSign, designed for working with electronic signatures, so far work on 32-bit platform only.

From the user perspective, the most visible change to the software will be the behavior improvements of the Personal Firewall. In earlier versions the user had to either enable or disable each application that was accessing the internet with the help of an interactive interface, thus creating the firewall rules. Now you can automatically create rules for all trusted applications. Examples of such applications include known web browsers or email programs.

Credibility of the applications is guaranteed by their digital certificates, which are normally required by the last versions of the operating system during installation. The possibility of automatic creation of firewall rules is a substantial increase in user comfort, who will also no longer be asked to enable or disable known applications.

The Data Shredding module, used for the irreversible disposal of sensitive data, has been supplemented by several useful characteristics. The changes in particular concern shredding from the operating system context menu. This means the user can easily shred files, folders, fixed and removable disks. There has also been improvement from the previous version with the possibility of shredding interruption.

TrustPort PC Security approaches computer security comprehensively. It protects your computer at all entry points, protects your data with strong encryption, and ensures the identity of the originator through electronic signature. Users, who only require an antivirus, antispyware and antispam protection, can purchase the compact solution TrustPort Antivirus.

In corporate networks, TrustPort Antivirus and TrustPort PC Security can be collectively implemented using TrustPort Management. When it comes to developing software, TrustPort's priorities are aimed developing simple yet effective and reliable security solutions, which are in touch with today's user requirements.
