(Nasdaq:FIRE), the creator of Snort' and a leader in intelligent cybersecurity solutions, today announced that the Sourcefire Intrusion Prevention System (IPS) now integrates with Citrix' NetScaler', providing users with increased application availability and protection. Delivered as integrated physical devices or virtual solutions residing on a single box, the combination of Sourcefire' and NetScaler helps businesses prevent operational disruptions caused by poor application performance due to increased workloads or security threats.

The solutions have been tested and are being delivered as both integrated physical appliances and as virtual solutions which can reside on the same machine, minimizing the IT footprint and hardware resources.
