PRESS RELEASE

ArcSight Protect 09, WASHINGTON D.C. - September 15, 2009 " Secerno, the technology leader in data security, today announced that its DataWall Platform has achieved certification for the Common Event Format (CEF) Standard from ArcSight, Inc., a leading global provider of security and compliance management solutions that protect enterprises and government agencies. With CEF Certification, Secerno broadens the reach of its real-time monitoring and blocking across all devices, both security and non-security, on the network.

ArcSight's CEF is an open event format standard that enables organizations to easily collect and analyze all forms of log and event data across different types of devices on the extended network, giving them the speed and accuracy necessary for today's security environment. The CEF Certification extends Secerno's real-time reporting of its database activity monitoring, policy enforcement and compliance auditing to extended networks in the public and private sector.

"The CEF standard presents an innovative solution to the challenge of achieving real-time, accurate information on security and compliance procedures in today's complex network implementations," said Steve Hurn, CEO of Secerno. "We are pleased to extend the real-time database activity monitoring to ArcSight's customers through the CEF standard."

"We designed the CEF standard to improve the interoperability of security-related information among different security and network devices and applications," said Jeff Scheel, Senior Vice President, Business Development at ArcSight. "Every additional CEF certification makes the format stronger and provides our customers with even more flexibility to see event log data across devices in the enterprise. With this certification, Secerno has strengthened the tools that our mutual customers can use to protect themselves from breaches, insider threats and non-compliance risks."
