PRESS RELEASE

SAN FRANCISCO --(Business Wire)-- Apr 20, 2009 Passlogix', Inc., today released an SDK for v-GO' Authentication Manager (v-GO AM), enabling any strong authentication device not currently supported by the v-GO Access Accelerator Suite to be integrated with v-GO to allow strong authentication to applications for enhanced security. Smart cards, proximity badges, biometrics and one-time password tokens from any vendor can now be used with v-GO to authenticate users at the point of application access without a long and costly customization project.

v-GO AM already supports the broadest range of authentication solutions of any similar product, including an extensive range of MS CAPI and PKCS #11-compliant smart cards, RSA SecureID tokens, HID Prox and iClass proximity badges, Ensure Technologies XyLoc proximity cards, Entrust Desktop Solutions 6.1, the IdentiPHI SAFsolution biometric suite.

The new SDK extends that support to any authentication infrastructure, giving enterprises the option to use v-GO with niche products, legacy products or new products that have not yet been integrated by Passlogix. Authentication companies or system integrators can use the sample code and documentation in the v-GO AM software development kit for that purpose.

Fujitsu Computer Products of America, for example, recently used the SDK to integrate v-GO with the Fujitsu PalmSecure LOGONDIRECTOR, which provides biometric authentication to computer systems based on individuals' palm vein patterns. Organizations can now use the Fujitsu product not only to authenticate users at the initial logon but also at each application logon.

v-GO AM authenticates users to the enterprise's selected strong authentication system; automatically maps the identity to the correct id/password for each application; and automatically injects that id/password into the application using v-GO Single Sign-On, a companion product that is the market-leading enterprise single sign-on (ESSO) solution. Users never know or type an id/password.

The SDK is available immediately from Passlogix. It is the latest addition to the v-GO Access Accelerator Suite, an integrated set of single sign-on, authentication and provisioning solutions that facilitate the process of providing fast, secure access to enterprise resources through ESSO-based password management and other strategies.
