Hamburg, Germany. July 11, 2011 The German IT security specialist gateProtect ( today presented the new generation of its firewall solutions. Version 9 includes several enhancements to the intrusion prevention system (IPS), ensuring increased protection against the latest threats. The new version comes with a completely re-engineered software architecture that gives customers a higher level of performance, security and stability, while addressing key requirements like high availability and dynamic DNS. Extra security is provided with Kaspersky Labs new scan engine, which delivers extensive virus protection. Overall, the ninth generation of gateProtects firewall solutions is the most stable, rapid and secure in the companys history.
