PRESS RELEASE
NEW YORK and HOUSTON (June 5, 2017) — Ironclad Encryption Corporation (OTCQB: IRNC) today announced it has engaged with Sonim Technologies to use its ultra-rugged LTE XP7 smartphone as the platform for integrating Ironclad Encryption’s ultra-secure algorithms. These efforts will result in the development of ultra-secure, ultra-rugged mobile phones where security, privacy, safety and ruggedness are paramount concerns for users dealing with sensitive, confidential information and who must work under arduous situations and extreme environmental conditions.
“Working with Ironclad Encryption is a natural extension of the core principles expressed in our ruggedized handsets and accessories,” said Bob Plaschke, Sonim’s President and Chief Executive Officer. “Ironclad’s encryption solution means that we will be able to ruggedize customers’ communications and data files to the same exacting standards as we have for our mobile phones.”
"Whether it’s a soldier in the field, a corporate executive in the boardroom, or even a family storing pictures on their phones, there is an expectation for security and privacy that simply does not exist in today’s consumer handsets, “ said J.D. McGraw, Ironclad Encryption’s Chief Executive Officer. “The same case can be made for corporate and governmental networks and data storage facilities. In fact, today’s widely deployed key-based encryption algorithms, which are used to secure everything from home Wi-Fi networks to data on our mobile devices, offer little protection against a determined individual hacker, hacker collective or unfriendly government agency.
