PRESS RELEASE

SAN FRANCISCO – Aug. 17, 2017 – Wells Fargo & Company (NYSE:WFC) announced today the launch of CEO Mobile Token, which allows Treasury Management customers to generate a security code on their iPhone or Android smartphone and then perform transactions using the Commercial Electronic Office® (CEO®) portal and CEO Mobile® service.

The CEO Mobile Token, which uses RSA SecurID® technology, provides customers a convenient alternative to a physical token.

“About half of our customers need to use a security token to access certain services today,” said Secil Watson, head of Digital Solutions for Business at Wells Fargo. “With the CEO Mobile Token, customers have a secure, convenient way to provide secondary authentication anytime they need to complete transactions.”

With Wells Fargo’s CEO Mobile Token, customers enjoy these benefits:

  • Convenience — Customers no longer need to carry a physical security token. When in the office or on the go, customers can quickly and securely access online banking services that require additional authentication — using their smartphones.

  • Choice — Customers have the option to choose and use either the mobile token or a physical security token.

  • Security— Customers are able to make secure transactions through the CEO Mobile Token app. The feature uses RSA SecurID technology that provides an extra layer of security.

  • Speed— Customers can access the mobile token with one click from the CEO Mobile app and do not need to be logged into the app to use the feature.

Customers with an iPhone, running a minimum of iOS 9.0, or a smartphone running Android 5.0 or higher, will be able to download the new feature from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. For more information, please visit theCEO Mobile Token website.
