Sunnyvale, CA — September 26, 2018 — CrowdStrike® Inc., the leader in cloud-delivered endpoint protection, today announced the appointment of Roxanne Austin to its Board of Directors as Audit Committee Chair, effective immediately. Austin serves on the Board of Directors of Target Corporation, Abbott Laboratories, AbbVie, and Teledyne Technologies (previously Ericsson). She is president and chief executive officer of Austin Investment Advisors, a private investment and consulting firm and chairs the US Mid-market Investment Advisory Committee of EQT Partners. She was named as one of the most influential directors in the boardroom by the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD).
Throughout Austin’s distinguished career, she’s held high-level executive positions, managed investment opportunities and important financing events for companies. Previously, Austin was the president and chief executive officer of Move Networks, an IP based television delivery service. She has also served as the president and chief executive officer of DIRECTV, the world’s leading provider of digital television entertainment services. Prior to joining DIRECTV, Austin was the executive vice president and chief financial officer of Hughes Electronics Corporation (then parent of DIRECTV). She was a partner of Deloitte and Touche before joining Hughes.
