PRESS RELEASE

Chelmsford, Mass., December 2, 2008 - Arbor Networks, Inc., a leading provider of secure service control solutions for global business networks, today announced the general availability of Peakflow X 4.1 ("Peakflow X"). With this release, Peakflow X's cost effective and pervasive network visibility is now augmented with enhanced IP Quality of Service (QoS) reporting, increased mitigation capabilities, as well as a new controller offering for improved solution scalability. Additionally, this release offers many usability and configuration enhancements, including a customizable summary page and support for IPV6 deployment.

New features and capabilities of Peakflow X include:

* Expanded IP QoS reporting capabilities that enable customers to search and report on traffic running at different QoS levels in order to identify possible mis-configurations or traffic level issues. * Enhanced Layer 2 mitigation and visibility allow customers to quickly view where a host is connected to the network and stop them at the source; includes auto-discovery of enterprise switches and elimination of troubled hosts from the network without affecting other hosts. * New Enterprise-Wide Controller provides the scalability to keep pace with the growing size, speed and complexity of today's large, distributed enterprise networks. Increased scalability means a single Peakflow X deployment can support many collectors, helping larger enterprises future-proof their Peakflow solution. * Customizable Summary Page provides consolidated views to allow network or security operators to quickly assess their networks status enabling a rapid response and reduced time-to-resolution for any discovered event. * Ability to be IPv6 addressed and deployed. Peakflow X provides the pervasive and intelligent network visibility that enterprises need to monitor the external security threats, internal network usage, and bandwidth-sapping applications that can jeopardize network performance and business success. Peakflow X was purpose-built to meet the demands of the largest enterprise networks, addressing a wide range of external and internal security threats while maintaining business continuity. It constructs a system-wide view of the entire network and auto-learning host behaviors to determine who talks to whom and how.

"When it comes to network security, enterprises are facing challenges on many fronts. In addition to constantly evolving internal and external threats, network administrators are being asked to do more with less," said Paul Morville, Arbor Networks' vice president of product management. "We have put a lot of focus on improving mitigation, scalability, and usability in order to speed time-to-resolution for our enterprise customers."
