PRESS RELEASE
WASHINGTON, May 2, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Thycotic Software, Ltd. announces today the introduction of Secret Server Enterprise Plus, a new version of their market-leading privileged account password management software.
"The information security industry is constantly changing, requiring our team to stay on top of new threats and to continuously adapt to meet new customer challenges," explains Jonathan Cogley, CEO. "With over 2,500 customers worldwide, Thycotic experienced 100% growth in 2010, and is on track for another great year in 2011."
Over the last six months, Thycotic has introduced many new features for Secret Server (first released in November 2005) and Password Reset Server (first released in December 2009). With an emphasis on usability and performance, a couple of new features include the dashboard and custom alerting. Dashboard is a replacement for the home screen, introducing improved search, efficiency, and additional options for customization. The custom alerting engine allows users to be notified when certain actions occur within the system.
"One of the best things about Secret Server is that it has been developed based on customer feature requests. We love getting customer feedback on how to improve the software," says Katie McCroskey, Marketing Manager.
Additionally, with the increasing importance of mobile applications, Thycotic has native apps for Secret Server on iPhone, BlackBerry and Android, with Windows Phone 7 coming soon. "We are always striving to improve the user experience for our customers while still focusing on security," explains Ben Yoder, Product Owner.
Thycotic Software, established in 1996, currently has 20 employees and is based in northwest Washington, DC.
