Prosperoware Milan 3.0, an integrated platform for information governance, now includes a new module that helps firms move gracefully to a "need-to-know"
security model. Milan Confidentiality Management is the latest addition to the product modules Prosperoware offers to help firms manage information security across multiple systems. With Milan Confidentiality Management, firms maintain the ethical walls they have in place for lateral hires and regulatory requirement while giving users the ability to make self-service requests for access to matters and documents and authorizing matter owners and their designees, such as the service desk, to grant or deny access on a need-to-know basis.
This new module, which is a web-based application, provides of layers of governance for different parts of the organization and different business scenarios to help the firm secure matters as confidential without erecting barriers to getting work done. Autonomy WorkSite, file shares, and any system that stores security in a
SQL database, including Legal Key, Aderant, Elite, and IRM. Prosperoware
will provide out-of-the box support for other common systems in the
coming months.
