VANCOUVER, British Columbia--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Layer 7 Technologies, the leader in Gateways for service-oriented integration, cloud connectivity and Web-to-mobile information sharing, is pleased to announce its membership in the Cloud Security Alliance. The company is also sponsoring two upcoming CSA events, including the Cloud Security Alliance Summit at RSA and a webinar on managing API security in the cloud.

As cloud adoption continues to escalate across the enterprise, network architects, developers and security professionals are seeking best practices in cloud computing to shorten the learning curve, streamline operations and minimize the risk associated with sharing data across internal and external security boundaries. As a new CSA member, Layer 7 is taking a leadership role on several fronts to help define standards and best practices in cloud computing security.

Mr. Lynch and Layer 7 CTO Scott Morrison will discuss how enterprises can secure APIs to different consumers in a simple, scalable way, and address versioning and meter consumption without burdening either application developers or application consumers.
