PRESS RELEASE

SAN FRANCISCO, CA and ATLANTA, GA--(Marketwire - February 15, 2011) - RSA Conference, Booth # 2754 -- ipTrust, a leading provider of security intelligence as a service, today announced the availability of ipTrust Intelligence service, which enables technology, reseller and service provider partners to integrate ipTrust's reputation analytics into their solutions, adding a significant layer of protection against today's most sophisticated attacks.

One of the first companies to take advantage of the new ipTrust security intelligence is HP, which is integrating it into the HP TippingPoint Reputation Digital Vaccine Service (RepDV service), which provides reputation intelligence to the HP TippingPoint Intrusion Prevention System (IPS). The ipTrust service provides HP with additional visibility into botnet and malware activity on corporate networks, and customers benefit from streamlined management of these threats through simplified, accurate policy management.

Harnessing Web-scale technology, ipTrust distills hundreds of terabytes of raw security data into structured security intelligence that is easily integrated to enhance existing security programs and infrastructure. ipTrust harvests, analyzes and classifies malware and botnet activity each day from over five million systems around the world to deliver the industry's most accurate IP address reputation scoring service.

The new ipTrust Intelligence service provides technology and solution partners with daily access to high-quality, consolidated IP reputation information on highly malicious IP addresses and domains. ipTrust's Intelligence service can be easily consumed and leveraged by existing security tools.

"Security solution and service providers are in an arms race against the latest threats, constantly looking for better ways to protect their customers and networks from hostile communications," said Dan Ingevaldson, SVP of Product Management and Co-Founder, ipTrust. "Leveraging the ipTrust Intelligence service, these vendors benefit from our proprietary malware analysis and data collection, which provides knowledge on over 290,000 organizations and more than 250 million IP addresses that have been infected with botnets, worms, viruses and other malware threats. As a result, their solutions are significantly better able to identify and automatically address these threats."

Content delivered as part of the ipTrust Intelligence service includes:

* Botnet Command & Control feed elements * Known Attacker feed elements * Proxy Identification feed elements

"Customers are looking for powerful and flexible solutions to protect their environment and stay ahead of the latest threats and zero-day vulnerabilities," said Dan Holden, director of HP DVLabs. "The combination of HP's market-leading TippingPoint intrusion prevention technology with ipTrust's global threat and IP reputation intelligence helps secure our clients against today's most sophisticated attacks."

"HP DVLabs is pushing the envelope in the enterprise security market by equipping their customers with the tools they need to address modern threats," continued Ingevaldson. "They are among the first to develop solutions to allow their customers to not only identify threats based upon IP reputation, but to manage them within a policy framework."
