EAST HARTFORD and SHELTON, Conn., July 7 /PRNewswire/ -- Integralis and Computer Alternative Processing Sites (CAPS), Inc. today announced an alliance to deliver a comprehensive enterprise risk management approach to digital information, real-time operations, infrastructure and supporting managed services, business continuity, and disaster recovery. Under the terms of the agreement, CAPS has selected Integralis as its primary managed IT infrastructure services, managed security services, consulting, and technology integration provider, and will market and sell Integralis services as part of a full range of SMB and enterprise production, business continuity, and disaster recovery products. These products include secure data centers, co-location and workstation facilities, data storage, and mobile recovery.

The relationship allows CAPS customers to leverage Integralis' global strengths in IT security information risk mitigation, and regulatory compliance management and its established brands -- SecureCall, SecureAssist, SecureWatch, and SecureManage. CAPS has more than a decade of dedicated expertise in IT infrastructure, business continuity and disaster recovery, high-performance, SAS 70 Type II facilities in Shelton, Connecticut serving the Boston-New York Northeast business corridor, and recently acquired a 56,000 square-foot metropolitan Atlanta facility which serves Georgia, Florida and Alabama.

"With exponential growth in data management and a host of regulatory requirements, worldwide demand for secured environments, sustained by reliable IT products, services and infrastructure ensuring continuous operations is more critical than ever," said Peter J. Messina, senior vice president and chief operating officer of CAPS. "The union of Integralis' global presence and highly regarded areas of expertise, together with CAPS' specializations, brings a new level of total support in critical areas impacting daily operations, risk management and security."

The combined resources of Integralis and CAPS allow enterprises to simultaneously manage cost and take advantage of advanced risk mitigation and disaster recovery methodologies and solutions. Both companies have been recognized by industry analyst firms: CAPS was named a "strong performer" by Forrester Research in its Disaster Recovery Service Providers, Q1 2008 Wave Report and Integralis was again recognized in the Magic Quadrant for "Managed Security Service Providers (MSSPs), North America" report published by Gartner in April 2009.

"CAPS' dedication and depth of management expertise in business continuity and disaster recovery combined with Integralis' expert managed and professional services will provide enterprises with a powerful holistic solution that combines IT security, operational assurance and regulatory compliance," said Andrew Lev, group SVP, marketing, alliances and channels, Integralis.
