July 7, 2011
PRESS RELEASE
London, 6th July 2011 - Digital forensics and incident response specialist, Foregenix, has successfully acquired TrustedOne Ltd (TrustedOne), a boutique information security consultancy business based in London, UK.
In addition to its successful educational services for merchants, service providers, acquirers and vendors, TrustedOne has a broad specialisation in strategic consultancy services, including:
- Management Consulting and Strategy
- Level 4 compliance initiatives
- Forensics and Account Data Compromise Investigations and Incident Response
- PCI Compliance (DSS & PA-DSS)
These services complement Foregenix’ existing consultancy service propositions in the PCI sector. Foregenix has also been providing professional PCI and Forensic / Incident Response consultancy services to clients within the Payment Card Industry for over two years while establishing itself as one of the leading and influential independent Qualified Security Advisor's and PCI Forensic Investigators in CEMEA. Foregenix and TrustedOne have enjoyed a close business relationship and delivery partnership during the past year.
The acquisition agreement between the two organisations was a natural progression from this established and successful working relationship and, as such, provides the Payment Card Industry with a valuable and unique combination of intellectual capital.
The newly expanded Foregenix and TrustedOne team will ensure that Foregenix clients continue to benefit from the transfer of knowledge, ideas and best practice from across the PCI spectrum.
TrustedOne will take a position on the Foregenix board and management team.
Benj Hosack, Director, Foregenix commented: “This is an exciting development for the future of Foregenix. TrustedOne has an excellent track record in providing specialist, strategic consultancy within the EU and Africa and, operationally, has a close cultural similarity to Foregenix in terms of quality, values and market approach.
Both the Foregenix and TrustedOne brands are well respected in the industry and together form a holistic vision of information security that we are proud to offer to our clients. We welcome the addition of Andrew Henwood to our board, who brings a wealth of experience in strategic management.”
Andrew Henwood, Principle Consultant, TrustedOne said: “I am delighted to be formalising our partnership. The acquisition of TrustedOne by Foregenix cements a tie that has been formed through both a common culture and a shared view on how successful information security projects can deliver real impact and value to clients.”
