San Jose, CA – December 16th 2010 – LogLogic, the independent leader in IT Data Management, SIEM and Log Management, announced today that it is the first SIEM vendor to release a security application through the Apple iTunes store.
LogLogic has long championed the need for open APIs and standards within the SIEM market. They released their first open source product, along with the APIs to their commercial portfolio, in 2006. Now in 2010, LogLogic is the first SIEM vendor to recognize that the iPad, when properly utilized, can be a hugely beneficial tool for compliance, security and IT operations.
The LogLogic LMI DashBoard app will connect to a customer’s LogLogic ST, LX or MX appliances and remotely monitor and filter PCI DSS, HIPAA, SOX, NERC, ITIL, ISO, FISMA, and other system alerts. Additionally, the app functions as a health dashboard for the customers’ IT data logging infrastructure.
The iPad app builds on previous work. Earlier in 2010, LogLogic promoted a log sizing tool for IT professionals called Log Caliper.
