ENGLEWOOD, Colo. -- MX Logic Inc., a leading managed security services provider of email and Web defense solutions, today announced the introduction of MX LogicSM Message Continuity service to the company’s suite of Disaster Recovery Services.
MX Logic Message Continuity helps businesses operate seamlessly during outages by maintaining two-way communication and keeping an accurate record of all email activity. The service, which is available for businesses with the MX Logic® Email Defense Service, provides full email access, management and use through a standard Web browser. “With email now the most commonly used medium for business communication, a critical component of any business continuity plan must involve easy and effective email access, use, management and retention during outages,” said Michael Osterman, founder, Osterman Research. “MX Logic Message Continuity addresses these problems and helps businesses mitigate the business risk associated with unplanned downtime to protect business operations and productivity.” When MX Logic detects a loss in connectivity with the email server, MX Logic Message Continuity automatically engages and provides Web-based access to email and email functionality. Once connectivity is restored, MX Logic Message Continuity intelligently synchronizes all outage-period email activity with the mail server. “Email outages can happen any time for a variety of reasons - from power or equipment failures, to natural disasters, to human error. To address this problem we created MX Logic Disaster Recovery Services,” said John Street, CEO, MX Logic. “MX Logic Message Continuity service is an important addition to our disaster recovery services as it acts like an insurance policy to protect against the consequences of email disruption, which can create significant financial implications for a business.” MX Logic Inc.
