ATLANTA -- Integrated email and Internet content security provider Marshal Inc. today announced the appointment of Steve Sheinbaum as vice president of Americas Sales. In his new position, Sheinbaum will be responsible for driving sales and channel and business development strategy for Marshal’s Americas operations. Sheinbaum brings a wealth of experience and knowledge from his previous role as channel vice president for CipherTrust Inc.*, as well as from his nearly 24 years of technology experience – ten of which were spent in senior channel management roles.

Experienced in many facets of channel management and business development with global corporations, Sheinbaum’s recent position at CipherTrust focused on driving channel and distribution strategy through enterprise-focused messaging security product launches and channel program development. Prior to his role at CipherTrust, Sheinbaum also held positions with Nokia, Sony Electronics, Inc. and NEC Information Systems, Inc.

“Marshal’s first year as an independent company after the 2005 management-led buyout from NetIQ was one of phenomenal growth,” notes Ed Macnair, CEO of Marshal. “Steve is the ideal choice to take Marshal to the next level in the Americas, focusing on honing the most effective processes and operations to provide intuitive, intelligent content filtering technology to combat customers’ email and Web messaging threats.”
