PRESS RELEASE
ATLANTA, GA – July 19, 2010 – Atlanta-based SecureWorks', Inc., a leading global provider of security services protecting over 2,800 clients worldwide, announced today that the company is partnering with MAD Security', an information security firm which provides full-service security consulting and integration, training, and services, to jointly offer a unique program called SAFE (Secure Architecture for Federal Enterprises) to Federal government agencies.
The SAFE program offers government organizations an affordable way to outsource information security services such as 24X7 managing and monitoring of an enterprise-wide security infrastructure, capturing and retaining log data, fulfilling regulatory requirements, and creating compliance and other types of reports for auditors and management. Utilizing the SAFE program, government organizations can greatly enhance their security posture and extend their in-house information security team by leveraging a continuous global view of emerging threats and zero day attacks, a 24X7 Security Operations Center, and a Security Awareness and Cyber Security Training program that educates government personnel on how to protect and secure their networks from cyber attacks.
“We are delighted to work with MAD Security to bring the SAFE program to the Federal government space. MAD Security’s deep understanding and expertise in assisting Federal government entities with successfully integrating Internet security into their IT infrastructure to build effective security programs, was a key factor in our decision to work together,” said Justin DuHaime, Director of Federal Sales for SecureWorks. “By combining MAD Security’s deep knowledge of the Federal government space with SecureWorks' comprehensive and flexible Internet security services, global threat visibility, and renowned security threat research, MAD Security will be able to expand and enhance their offerings, thus providing more powerful and effective security services to clients specifically in the Federal government. We look forward to a strong relationship and further expanding our presence in the Federal market.”
“MAD Security, LLC is proud to partner with a recognized leader in managed security services such as SecureWorks, as it will truly enhance our current offerings to the Federal government,” says Dean Pace, Director of Government Services at MAD Security. “The SAFE program offers the government an economical and flexible methodology to adhere to the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) Cyber Security Initiatives.”
