MONTREAL -- e-motional.com software today announced that it has joined the RSA SecuredR Partner Program to certify interoperability between e-motional.com software's Transparent Screen Lock PRO v4.60 product and RSA SecurIDR for MicrosoftR WindowsR two-factor authentication solution from RSA Security. Attaining RSA Secured certification signifies that a technical partnership has been established between the two companies, designed to enable Transparent Screen Lock PRO to authenticate users using RSA SecurID one time password technology, thereby increasing security for joint customers.
Direct support for RSA SecurID technology within Transparent Screen Lock PRO provides IT professionals with an integrated means of preventing unauthorized system access, while maintaining the ability to view applications running on the desktop for monitoring purposes. Transparent Screen Lock PRO delivers powerful system security and administration features that are essential in today's open-concept corporate offices with free movement of employees and visitors, as well as in high security environments such as financial institutions and banks, hospitals and pharmaceutical research facilities, government offices and military installations.
"We chose to team with RSA Security because their solutions are proven and secure, and backed up by over 21,000 customers worldwide," said Edward Milczarek, President of e-motional.com software. "Through technical interoperability between Transparent Screen Lock PRO and RSA SecurID technology, e-motional.com software provides a solution that meets the needs of security-conscious IT managers."
Transparent Screen Lock PRO enables IT professionals to prevent unauthorized system access, while maintaining the ability to view applications running on the desktop for monitoring purposes. With its ability to grant access to select groups of users in both stand-alone and multiple-user shared computer environments, Transparent Screen Lock PRO is ideal for facilities which must ensure compliance to the 21 CFR Part 11 code of federal regulations. With support of an optional biometric fingerprint reader and hardware proximity sensor to automatically lock the system when the user steps away from the station, optimal system security may be achieved at a competitive price.
"We are pleased to continue the momentum of the RSA Secured Partner Program with the addition of e-motional.com software," said Stuart Cohen, director of partner development at RSA Security. "Companies are struggling to maintain secure access to vital information and applications and the technology partnership between e-motional.com software and RSA Security provides a valuable solution to end users."
