PRESS RELEASE

Needham, Mass. –Promisec, a leading provider of actionable endpoint management solutions, today announced a sizable upgrade to its flagship product, Promisec Endpoint Manager, a fully automated enterprise-class agentless software solution that provides organizations with full visibility and control of endpoints and servers. The latest version, Promisec Endpoint Manager 4.9, now provides enhanced business intelligence with the addition of a reporting module, an API to trigger inspections through third parties, and integration with Microsoft Windows Server Update Services (WSUS) for enhanced hotfix verification.

Promisec has expanded Promisec Endpoint Manager's capabilities to provide increased security and compliance and to make managing complex IT operations simpler and more efficient. The business intelligence reporting module empowers Promisec users to design custom reports based on their individual needs, and as a result, improves the ability to rapidly respond to security threats, compliance violations, operational challenges, etc. These highly interactive reports provide online sorting and filtering with formats that can be saved for re-use, and easy-to-use design features that can be viewed on a standard browser or mobile device.

Promisec Endpoint Manager currently manages millions of endpoints across enterprises in a myriad of industries. The solution provides full visibility of endpoints across an enterprise, including multi-platform support for MS Windows, Unix/Linux systems, Mac and Android. Promisec Endpoint Manager capabilities also include:

· Third party integration through an API: Enhanced option enabling third party vendors of products such as Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP), virtual private network (VPN) and Network Access Control (NAC), to automatically integrate and initiate an agentless pre-defined inspection to improve their performance and visibility, which eventually increases the organizational's level of security and compliance

· Integration with MS WSUS server: Enhanced way to interact with the Windows Update Service to check for missing Microsoft updates, which will validate for the presence of approved hotfixes listed in WSUS

· Enhanced BYOD support: Through integration with NMap Security Scanner, organizations can now detect and identify additional OS fingerprints of operating systems such as Microsoft, Unix/Linux systems, iOS, Android, VOIP, etc.

"As IT environments become more complex and budgets shrink, it is critical for IT teams to optimize their existing investments and do more with less," said Dan Ross, CEO of Promisec. "We're giving our customers the tools to avoid problems by making more informed decisions, identify vulnerabilities as soon as possible, and remediate rapidly."
