Identity Engines Names CEO
Identity Engines announced that Pete Selda will join the company as chief executive officer
MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. -- Identity Engines, Inc., a leading provider of network identity management solutions, today announced that Pete Selda will join the company as chief executive officer. Selda brings more than 25 years experience in technology, having played key roles in sales, marketing and executive management in startup and large corporate environments.
A proven growth-stage CEO with extensive experience in the security industry, Selda was most recently president and CEO of WholeSecurity, Inc., a provider of behavior-based security and anti-phishing technology. At WholeSecurity, he built the executive team, secured more than $20 million in venture funding and led the company from incubator pre-product stage through the company’s acquisition by Symantec Corporation in October 2005. Prior to WholeSecurity, Selda was president and CEO of Internet Dynamics, an Internet security company focused on enterprise-class security solutions. During his tenure at Internet Dynamics, Selda was responsible for managing corporate growth and direction, and ultimately oversaw the company’s successful acquisition by RedCreek Communications, Inc.
