FRAMINGHAM, Mass. -- Courion® Corporation, the provisioning specialist, today announced a new value added reseller (VAR) program designed to deliver Rapid Business Impact to the mid-market. The cornerstone of Courion’s VAR program are its Enterprise Provisioning Suite™ solution Jump Start options announced September 25, 2006, which provide out-of-the- box password and provisioning functionality, eliminating the cost and infrastructure requirements that prohibit many companies from deploying identity management solutions. Through this program, Courion partners benefit from the ability to quickly address customer pain points with more balanced product portfolios which enable them to address unmet provisioning needs among the mid-market.

With this new program, Courion is targeting VARs that focus on identity management or have significant penetration in the technology market. Flagship members include THISA (Trusted Healthcare Information Solutions Alliance), a national network of eight regional solution providers (see companion press release) including Agile 360, Centrinet, Database and LAN Solutions, Deva Systems, Guardera, I-Access, LAN Status and Right! Systems. Additional VARs include Accelera, CBE, CRT Group, GO IT Services, Group Captiva, Identiphi, Laurus Technologies, Logic Trends, Pathmaker, Tribridge and Vigilar.

“With its commitment to product quality and customized VAR training and support, Courion is an ideal technology partner. With solutions that minimize the complexities of provisioning, Courion enables us to rapidly demonstrate tangible results to customers,” said Chris Collier, vice president of sales, Identiphi. “Courion has provided us with the opportunity to expand our existing product portfolio and meet new demand for provisioning and identity management solutions. Furthermore, Courion is the only vendor with packaged applications that address the specific business needs of the mid-market.”

Courion solutions are optimal for the VAR model based on their low total cost of ownership and lowest services-to-software ratios in the market. Additionally, the Jump Start options are easy for VARs to adopt and implement, enabling them to deliver Rapid Business Impact to customers by meeting specific needs of the markets they serve.

“Growing identity management and provisioning needs of the mid-market represent a significant opportunity for our VAR partners to expand their market reach and generate new revenue streams,” said Kurt Johnson, vice president of corporate development, Courion. “With Courion’s modular approach and out-of-the-box solutions to tackling provisioning challenges, we are committed to supporting our partners’ success by enabling them to quickly sell and deploy solutions that address their customers’ identity management needs, without requiring lengthy, complex consulting projects.”
