FRAMINGHAM, Mass. and NEW YORK -- Courion® Corporation, the provisioning experts for results-driven operations, and Identropy, an Identity Management platform delivery company, today announced the availability of the Identropy Managed Identity Services (iMIS) for Courion’s Enterprise Provisioning Suite™ solution. iMIS is a management tool that enables companies that host their own Identity Management systems to outsource the monitoring, management, reporting and remediation of the infrastructure to Identropy.

Unlike some traditional managed identity services offerings, iMIS for Courion’s Enterprise Provisioning Suite is a flexible, on-premise solution that does not require companies to outsource their entire Identity Management infrastructure. Instead, with Identropy acting as an extension of existing engineering resources, Courion customers maintain control over their own workflows and can simply shift day-to-day system management and monitoring to Identropy leveraging the web-based iMIS Portal Dashboard in order to improve productivity and focus on other security and compliance priorities.

“Courion provides measurable benefits related to automating user provisioning, role management, access compliance and password management processes,” said Kurt Johnson, vice president of corporate development, Courion. “Through our strong partnership with Identropy, organizations can enhance their own resources with cost-effective expertise to properly manage and administer Courion’s products and monitor related technology and infrastructure. This helps ensure customers’ ability to maximize the benefits of the solution while enabling us to offer access to a flexible, cost-effective managed service solution that fits with their business and operational priorities without requiring them to cede too much control.”
