Integrated offering reduces organizational risk and improves software quality

DULLES, Va., and WILMINGTON, Ma., June 8, 2009 " Security Innovation, a leading provider of software security products and services, and Cigital, the largest consulting firm specializing in software security and quality, today announced they have entered into a strategic alliance to jointly deliver software security consulting and training products to customers worldwide. Both organizations have delivered high-quality solutions to Fortune 500 companies for years and bring specific technology and development lifecycle expertise that combined provide a complete application security program for clients.

Under the agreement, Security Innovation and Cigital will offer each other's e-Learning and instructor-led training courses, as well as professional services. Security Innovation will incorporate key content from Cigital's training curriculum into its TeamProfessor e-Learning solution resulting in deeper and broader coverage on application security topics. Additionally, Cigital will add Security Innovation's dynamic analysis tool, Holodeck, to its product re-sell portfolio and will deliver consulting and training services for both companies in Europe.
