Cigital Names Peter Esparrago As President

DULLES, Va., September 07, 2010-Cigital, Inc., a leading software security consulting firm, today announced the appointment of Peter Esparrago as President. Mr. Esparrago is a global technology executive with over 25 years of experience in a wide variety of industries.

In this role, Peter will be responsible for accelerating the development of Cigital's business, leading the expansion into the healthcare industry, and further driving growth of Cigital's information security service offerings. Prior to joining, Peter was the President of Mycroft, an Identity & Access Management Consulting and Managed Security Services company.

Mr. Esparrago has held a number of senior executive positions. He was CEO of IntraISP a global BSS/OSS Software-as-a-Service company, the former President of River City Internet Group, a technology holding company and COO for Ariel Research, a global leader in EH&S content, software and outsourcing. Mr. Esparrago also spent 16 years at Accenture where he was a Partner. His responsibilities at Accenture included selling/managing numerous SAP/ERP/CRM/e-commerce/outsourcing engagements, starting-up on-shore and off-shore solution centers, and Software-as-a-Service thought leader.

Peter has a BS in Chemical Engineering from University of Missouri, and an MBA in Finance from Rockhurst University.
