PRESS RELEASE
NEW YORK, July 18, 2012 - Bayshore Networks, the leading provider of internal application firewall technology engineered to detect and block advanced malware and threats, today announced general availability of SingleKeyTM v5.0. Featured upgrades include: advanced application behavior profiling; expanded dynamic routing capabilities via BGP, OSPF and Failover; and a highly-intuitive Graphical User Interface.
Designed and developed in the United States, SingleKey is an internal application firewall deployed at the data center switch level. SingleKey proactively detects and blocks attacks on internal applications in violation of security rules, protocols and baseline application behavior. Administrators tune SingleKey's adaptive heuristics to continuously profile behavior and deliver real-time anomaly detection. SingleKey leverages patent-pending heuristic baselining, behavior-based analytics and its highly-granular SingleKey Policy Language (SPL) to detect anomalous behavior in real time.
"Despite billions of dollars spent annually on the protection of critical assets, today's enterprise organizations remain extremely vulnerable to targeted attacks by highly-motivated cybercriminals and nation-states," said Bayshore Networks founder and Chief Executive Officer Francis Cianfrocca. "If increasingly sophisticated threat strains and tactics have proven anything, it's that perimeter security is no longer effective and information security decision-makers deserve more effectiveness, innovation and scalability to truly protect the enterprise."
SingleKey v5.0 delivers the most comprehensive application protection on the market and is equipped with the following key features and upgrades:
Advanced application behavior profiling using Bayshore's heuristic baselining capabilities. Expanded dynamic routing capabilities via BGP, OSPF and Failover, among others. Updated and expanded intuitive Graphical User Interface. Re-tooled and expanded Command Line Interface. Improved SingleKey Policy Language (SPL) editor and policy validation tools. Granular NIST-ready admin, user, and role management features. Expanded coverage to include industrial protocols including Modbus and DNP3. Improved logging functionality, including event and SIEM integration features. Enhanced remote management capabilities via SingleView.
Bayshore most recently announced availability of its Bayshore SCADA Firewall™ v.2.0 for Industrial Control Systems, SCADA organizations and critical infrastructure organizations. In February, the company announced a strategic technology integration with BAE Systems to deliver a powerful combination of Bayshore's Layer 7 internal firewall technology with BAE's ultra-secure STOP OS to deliver unmatched protection for BAE defense customers.
