PRESS RELEASE

DALLAS --(Business Wire)-- Apr 21, 2009 Affiliated Computer Services Inc. (NYSE: ACS) is now providing the "next generation" of secure data protection services for its clients through its partnership with PGP Corporation, a global leader in email and data encryption software for enterprise data protection.

As part of the agreement, ACS offers the PGP' encryption solutions and value added ACS Encryption Services to its range of government and commercial clients. As a leading provider of business process and information technology solutions, ACS already stores, accesses and transmits large amounts of sensitive data for its clients daily.

"We take seriously our responsibility to protect our clients' information. Our solutions based on the PGP' Encryption Platform allow us to assure our clients that their sensitive data is always secure and in good hands," said Christopher Leach, Chief Information Security Officer for ACS.

To provide enterprise data protection services to clients, ACS Encryption Services recently teamed up with PGP to develop several encryption services, including:

  • ACS Whole Disk Encryption Service to secure all data on desktops, laptops and external drives in the event of possible loss or theft using PGP UniversalTM Server and PGP' Whole Disk Encryption.

    • ACS Gateway Email Encryption Service to encrypt emails that transmit across the Internet using PGP UniversalTM and PGP' Gateway Email encryption products.

    • ACS Secure Large File Transfer (SLFT) Service, which allows senders to securely upload and transmit files up to 2 gigabytes in size without using any additional client software. SLFT uses PGP' Command Line for its encryption engine.

In addition to providing a full range of encryption services for its clients, ACS provides enhanced enterprise management capabilities through ACS' Data Protection Agent (DPA) software, a small-footprint service that runs on client computers and seamlessly integrates with PGP' Whole Disk Encryption. DPA provides global management of systems that are encrypted with PGP' software, reporting disk encryption status and other key metrics back to a central database server. DPA also provides administrators with the ability to remotely terminate all access to DPA-enabled systems in the event of a lost or stolen computer.

"The positive feedback we receive from our clients confirms the value of these new encryption solutions," said Leach. "We've deployed PGP Universal Gateway Email with over 170,000 secured email boxes; encrypted over 70,000 systems across the globe with PGP' Whole Disk Encryption; and transferred more than 17,000 files using the ACS Secure Large File Transfer Service."

[Editor's Note: Rhonda Johnson, Director of Information Security and Encryption Services for ACS, will speak during the 2009 RSA Conference in San Francisco on April 20-24. The RSA Conference is the largest securities conference in the world.]
